This morning I received the new T-shirts. They came beautifully packaged by our friends at Monergism. Who better to model the new look than my son, a small Calvinist named after Jonathan Edwards? The shirts range in sizes from small (for the wee little Calvinist) all the way up to 3XL for the fuller Calvinist. And the shirts come in a pre-shrunk, “beefy-t” cotton. Order some for Father’s Day.
Hello everyone. I just received word from our friends at Monergism Books that the T-shirt I helped design is now ready for sale. The front carries the Monergism logo and the back design is based upon the beauty of Christ revealed in Revelation 5:9 – “for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.” The trick was in communicating the diversity of these tribes. Most designs around this passage emphasize Christ’s redeemed come from the whole earth (singular) rather than from every tribe (a plurality which is more biblically accurate). This design took all the land masses and boxed them to communicate the individuality of each tribe. Blood was shed for sinners in each and every one of these tribes. What a beautiful, globally-transforming power flows from Christ’s Blood to every unique tribe of the world!
